Installation
1. Installation Via WordPress Admin Area
- Step 1. Log into your WordPress admin area.
- Step 2. Click on the left plugin menu.
- Step 3. Now at the top you can see the Add New button, click the button.
- Step 4. Again at the top you can see/view Upload Plugin button, click the button.
- Step 5. Now upload the plugin zip file (user-blocker.zip) that you have downloaded from wordpress.org. After upload, install the zip and click on "Activate Plugin".




2. Installation Via FTP
- Step 1. Download User Blocker plugin zip file (user-blocker.zip) from wordpress plugin directory
- Step 2. Extract Zip file. It will create "user-blocker" folder with all plugin files & folder inside it. (Remember the extracted folder path)
- Step 3. Using your FTP program, upload the non-zipped plugin folder into the "/wp-content/plugins/" folder on your server.
- Step 4. Go to Dashboard » Plugins » Installed Plugins and find User Blocker Plugin from the list.
- Step 5. Click on Activate to the active User Blocker Plugin.
Block User By Time
It will block user by time (shown in below image)

Select User/Category :
Filter users by its username (default) and role (shown in below image).

Select Role :
Filter users by its role (shown in below image).
- Search : Search users by its username or email or first name.
- Action : It will update the selected user block time and block message (shown in below image).
- Block Time : It will set the block timing of selected user.
- Block Message : Customize message for the blocked user. If you don't type the block message, then its default message is "You are temporary blocked."
- Redirection URL : User can add URL to redirect the blocked user or role. By default it will be blank.

Block User By Date

- Action : It will update the selected user block date and block message.
- Block Date : It will set the block date of selected user.
- Block Message : Customize message for the blocked user. If you don't type the block message, then its default message is "You are temporary blocked."
- Redirection URL : User can add URL to redirect the blocked user or role. By default it will be blank.
Block User Permanent

- Action : It will update the selected user block message.
- Block Message : Customize message for the blocked user. If you don't type the block message, then its default message is "You are temporary blocked."
- Redirection URL : User can add URL to redirect the blocked user or role. By default it will be blank.
Blocked User List By Time
- Step 1. Go to Dashboard » User Blocker » Blocked User List » Blocked User List By Time

It will show the all blocked user list by it's time.
- Select User/Category : Filter users by its username (default) and role (shown in below image).
- Select Role : Filter users list by its role.
- Search : Search users list by its username or email or first name.

You can also Reset the blocked user(shown in above image).
Blocked User List By Date
- Step 1. Go to Dashboard » User Blocker » Blocked User List » Blocked User List By Date

It will show the blocked users list by it's date.
Blocked User List By Permanently
- Step 1. Go to Dashboard » User Blocker » Blocked User List » Blocked User List Permanently

It will show the permanently blocked users list.

- Step 1. Go to Dashboard » User Blocker » Blocked User List » Blocked User List

Delete data on deletion of plugin

Translation
User Blocker plugin is language compatible, thus can be translated into multiple languages. You can use POEdit plugin for translation.

Step 1. Install Poedit
tool and open it

Step 2. Open .POT file from /wp-content/plugins/user-blocker/languages/
that you want to translate

Step 3. Now, click on "Save"

Step 4. Then one popup will be appear and then enter your Language
code ( Ex :- "en_CA" for English (Canada)) in language option

Step 5. Then press ok button.

Step 6. Then give file name like this user-blocker-en_CA.po
for English (Canada) language.

Step 7. Then save file inside language folder in plugin that you
want to translate and all strings are appear in your poedit editor

Step 8. Select your string that you want to translate and in
bottom side there are two options one is Source Text and another one is Translation
-
Step 9. Source Text keep as it is and in Translation section
enter your translated string of selected string that you want to translate and then
save it.

Step 10. Repeat step 10 untill your all strings to be translate.

Step 11. Now you will get two separate files – a .po file and a
.mo file.
Note : When you save the files, you must name them according to your language code. Find a list of language codes at WordPress in your Language. For example, the language code for English (Canada) is en_CA, so you would save the translated files as en_CA.po and en_CA.mo.

Step 12. Then go to wp-config.php file then enter the below code.
define('WPLANG', 'Your language code');
for Ex.(en_CA for English (Canada)) then save it.

Step 13. Select language from admin side, Go to Dashboard
» Settings » General in that check Site Language options.

Step 14. Check language prefix in front end, view HTML.
FAQ
1. Can I block any user by time or date based?
Yes, User Blocker plugin gives you ability to block any user with specific time and date frame.
2. I want to block users which have same user role, How can I do this?
Go to User Blocker page and select "Block Users By Time" tab and then select Role option with ‘Select User/Category’ dropdown. Now, you have list of user roles. You can select any of them, set block time and message and hit on "Block Role" button.
3. Can I change the message a disabled user sees?
Yes, there is an option in backend as admin can update the message for disabled user.
4. Can I set individual block message for all blocked users?
Yes, admin user can set individual block message for all blocked users.
5. Apart from Admin who can unblock user?
Only Admin user have right to unblock blocked user.
5. If there are more than one Admin users then how will work?
All admin users have same rights to block and unblock user by available categories.
Update User Blocker Plugin
You can update User Blocker Plugin using 1 of the two ways below
1. Update Via WordPress Admin area
