Veriyas PRO WordPress Theme Documentation

To install this theme you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. For information regarding installing the WordPress platform, please see the WordPress Codex  https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress

1. Installation Via WordPress Admin Area

1. Step 1. Log into your WordPress admin area.
2. Step 2. Go to Dashboard » Appearance » Themes.
3. 
   
4. 
   Step 3. Now, Click on Upload Theme button at top and upload veriyas-pro.zip which you have downloaded from your Member Area at Solwin Infotech website.
5. Step 4. Click on Activate once upload has finished.

2. Installation Using FTP

1. Step 1. Download veriyas-pro.zip file from your Member Area at Solwin Infotech website.
2. Step 2. Extract Zip file.
3. Step 3. Using your FTP program, upload the non-zipped theme folder into the "/wp-content/themes/" folder on your server.
4. Step 4. Go to Dashboard » Appearance » Themes and find Veriyas PRO theme from list.
5. Step 5. Click on Activate to active Veriyas PRO theme.

After the Veriyas PRO theme is activated, a notification occurs on the top that will suggest which plugins are required in theme.

Recommended Plugin:

• Contact Form 7: Manage multiple contact forms, plus you can customize the form and the mail contents flexibly with simple markup.
• Avartan Slider: A Responsive WordPress slider that allows you to create unlimited layers with text, image and video elements.
• Blog Designer PRO : Blog Designer is a step ahead wordpress plugin that allows you to modify blog and single page layouts and design.

Above configuration will helps you to run the auto install successfully.

Sample data provide the dummy content. By importing this data your site will look like the demo website.

To Auto Install Sample Data:

1. Step 1. Go to your Dashboard » Veriyas PRO » Install Demos.
2. Step 2. Select Demo Home Page Layout.
3. Step 3. Click on "START INSTALL" Button to start Auto Install process.

Remove the installed dummy content from your website.

To Remove Sample Data:

1. Step 1. Go to your Dashboard » Veriyas PRO » Install Demos.
2. Step 2. Click on "UNINSTALL" Button to remove dummy content.

This section will help you to arrange home page and other pages of your site. This will also guide to you as how to set up WordPress Menus, Create a Slider/Banner, Create Home Page, Use of Page Templates and insertion of shortcode in pages.

1. Step 1: Go to Dashboard » Pages » Add New.
2. Step 2: Enter page title.
3. Step 3: Select template as Home Page Template for Page Attribute as shown in below image.
4. Step 4: Publish this page
6. Step 5: Go to Dashboard » Settings » Reading, select home page as a front page.

1. Step 1. Go to Dashboard » Appearance » Menus.
2. Step 2. Click on Create a new menu as show in below image.
3. Step 3. Enter menu name and click on Create Menu as shown in below image.
5. Step 4. Select Pages like Home, Icons, Typography, Tabs, Share and Follow, Progressbar etc. from left Side, and click on Add to Menu button as show in below image.

Why and When to Use One page theme..?

A single page theme that displays all the essential features of your Website on the Home page. It makes easy for the users to scratch all the required information within a single page from whole site and represent it via Home page.

1. Step 1. Go to Dashboard » Appearance » Menus.
2. Step 2. Click on Create a new menu as show in below image.
3. Step 3. Enter menu name and click on Create Menu.
4. Step 4. Click on Custom Links and enter section id in 'URL' and Enter a menu title in 'link text' from left Side then click on Add to Menu button as show in below image
5. Step 5. After selecting pages select menu location and click on Save Menu.

How to select page template:

Select a page template from Page Attributes as shown in below image.

There are following page templates:

• Home Page Template: This page template is used to display home page content.
• Full Width Page Template: This page template is used to display content in a full width page.
• Left Sidebar Page Template: This page template is used to display sidebar at the left side in a page.
• Contact us Page Template: This page template is used to display contact us page.

Quick guide will help you to easily setup your blog page layout in 3 easy steps within 1 to 2 minutes. However, you can set it up in only 2 steps. 3rd step is required only in certain conditions like direct shortcode usage.

Please follow this quick steps.

Create a new Blog Page

1. Instead of trying on your Blog page or another page, we suggest to first test with a new test page for your blog.
   
   1. Create New test page from "Pages" section and give title as "My Blog".
   2. Click on "Publish" button to publish new page.
   3. Right Click on Permalink URL and open it in a new tab of browser. (It will be useful to check page view from the front end.)
   

Create a new blog layout

1. 1. Go to Dashboard » Blog Designer » Add Layout
   You will get a page as shown below.
   Now, click on "Select Template" button to get the entire list of blog templates available for you to choose from.
   
3. 2. Select any one blog layout that you want to set for your blog from the given list and follow next instructions.
5. 3. Enter "Layout Name" and "Select Post Type"


6. - Add Layout Name (Give name to your blog layout)
7. - Select Post Type (Select the post type from a post type selection)
9. 4. Select Page for Blog (Your blog design will display with that page)
   
   Click on the Drop down list and select page name that we have created in Step 1, in our case it's "My Blog" page.
   
   
   NOTE: In "Select Page for Blog" option list if you select any page to display your posts, then you will lose all the content of that selected page (if any content already exists within the page, please keep a backup of it OR user another blank page).
11. You have done with Quick step settings.
12. Go to the end of the page and click on "Save Settings" button.
13. Now refresh the page that we already have opened in another tab during step 1, in our case, it's "My Blog" page OR open the URL of your page that you have selected for your blog page at "Select page for blog" option in above step.

    Congratulations..!! you have configured Blog designer plugin.
    

15. Note: What if anyone wants to display Blog posts or custom post type posts within any page content? You can do it via Blog Designer Shortcode. To do it, please follow instructions given in Step 3. Ignore Step 3 if you don't have such requirement.

1. 1. Make sure you have already created blog layouts that you want to use within page content. If you haven't created any Blog layout, then go to Step 2.
2. 2. Go to Dashboard » Pages.
3. 3. Open the page in which you want to display blog layouts.
4. 4. Click on the "Add Blog designer shortcode" it will pop up "Select Blog Designer Shortcode" window as per shown bellow.

   5. Select the layout name from the list that you want to display in this page and click on "Insert shortcode" Button.

5. 6. Now you will see that your selected Blog layout's Short code inserted in page content.

6. Click on "Update" and Right Click on Permalink URL and open it in a new tab of the browser.

   To display Blog layout as above select "Classical Template"

1. Step 1: Go to Dashboard » Blog Designer » Archive Layouts
   Step 2: Click on "Create New Archive Layout" Button.
   Step 3: Click on "Save Changes" button at bottom of page. And Enjoy the Blog Archive Layout.

1. Step 1: To set the Single post Layout in your website.
   Step 2: Go to Dashboard » Blog Designer » Add Single Layout
   Step 3: In that page see the option Override Single Post Design
   Step 4: Check the option Override Single Post Design
   Step 5: Click on "Save Settings" button at bottom of page.

2. For which purposes I can use your theme?

Veriyas PRO WordPress Theme is suitable for marketing, corporate or professional business websites to showcase your business or portfolio.

The Veriyas PRO theme is language compatible, thus can be translated into multiple languages. You can use POEdit plugin for translation.

1. Step 1. Find the .pot file in /wp-content/themes/veriyas-pro/languages/
   
   
2. Step 2. Select language from the admin side, Go to Dashboard » Settings » General in that check Site Language options.
   
   
3. Step 3. Check language prefix in front end, view HTML.
   
   
4. Step 4. Open the .pot file with POEdit and translate the texts into your preferred language.
   
   
5. Step 5. Now you will get two separate files – a .po file and a .mo file.

   Note : When you save the files, you must name them according to your language code. Find a list of language codes at WordPress in your Language. For example, the language code for English is en_EN, so you would save the translated files as en_EN.po and en_EN.mo.

6. Step 6. Now Paste that two .po & .mo files in /wp-content/themes/veriyas-pro/languages/ and rename to eg( en_CA.mo & en_CA.po ).
