Flickr Widget is a free Magento 2 extension that integrates the Flickr gallery with an online store. It will display the latest feed of your Flickr page on your store. It is a user-friendly and fully customized extension.

Flickr Widget is an effective Magento 2 extension that will integrate any Flickr gallery into the Magento website. It is a fully customized tool to present images in a beautiful way.

The Flickr user-id is required to display the feeds of the Flickr page. It uses the Flickr API to get all the required information and data. When a user clicks on the image, it will directly redirect to that particular image on the Flickr website.

This extension is used as a Magento widget. Admin can add this Flickr widget on any CMS page or blocks. So customers can see images from any page.

How It Works

To enable this extension, just go to Flickr -> Configuration and set the Enable option to ‘Yes’.

Then enter Flicker Id. Admin can get Flicker Id from here.

User Installation Guide

Installation Process

Note: Please take a backup of your all Magento files and database before installing or updating any extension.

Download the extension file:
  1. Download the Flickr Widget extension .ZIP file from solwininfotech.com using your Solwin Infotech website account.
  2. Extract the .ZIP file which contains another .ZIP files.
  3. Now, you will see the extension .ZIP file for Magento 2.1.x, Magento 2.2.x, Magento 2.3.x and Magento 2.4.x version.
Extension Installation:
  1. If you are using Magento 2.1.x then you need to extract solwin-flickr-m2-2.1.x.zip file.
    If you are using Magento 2.2.x then you need to extract solwin-flickr-m2-2.2.x.zip file.
    If you are using Magento 2.3.x, Magento 2.4.x then you need to extract solwin-flickr-m2.zip file.
  2. Copy the app folder and paste it into your magento ROOT directory.
  3. Run upgrade command as specified : php bin/magento setup:upgrade
  4. Clear the cache either from the admin panel or command line php bin/magento cache:clean
  5. Now, you can see the Solwin menu in admin panel. Please go to Solwin -> Flickr Widget -> Configuration and select Enable to Yes.
  6. Change/Set all other options as per your requirements and save settings.
